As a ​sex coach and educator, Misha encourages authenticity through poetry, storytelling, and critical discourse. She motivates individuals, couples, and groups to pursue liberation and advance social justice.
Although self-care and mental health often fall to the bottom of many individuals' priority list, Misha aims to set aside time to intentionally focus on the the things we hesitate to question. Schedule some time in Misha’s Room!

Misha facilitates seminars to support both young and adult learners become actively anti-racist by exploring identity and increasing self-awareness.
Misha intitiates conversations about how taboo sexual topics connect to communities while showing that diverse voices also need to be engrained in sex ed curriculum.
Misha is a spoken word artist that hosts community events to explore relationship dynamics, love, personal battles with anxiety or depression, and more.
Misha designs workshops to help combat the impact of stress on an individual's biological, physiological, and psychological functioning.

Organizational Culture: Sense of Belonging and Representation
In conjunction with developing and evaluating policies, Misha coordinated and facilitated multiple adult learning workshops and trainings for a network of 16 school directors and 40 staff members. Her work assisted educators in exploring their role in unintentionally supporting the marginalization of their Black and Brown students and colleagues.  

Sex Coaching & Education

InterSEXtional Thinking Workshops take an interdisciplinary, evidence-based approach to foundational concepts in the study of human sexuality, as well as recent developments and research in the field. One-on-one, couple, or group sessions available covering the following topics and more:

​Misha's Room Live: Overcoming Me
Misha was invited to share pieces at Johnavich Studios’ Overcoming Me Art Show in Dallas, TX. She took the opportunity to talk about her conflicting experience as a young Black lesbian in America.

Mental Health

Life is difficult and things get hard. Sharing strategies and techniques to overcome these trials can eliminate feelings of isolation. 
Misha's Room Live: De-stress
​​Misha supported Southeastern Louisiana University’s Black Student Union in educating their campus on stress management and relief. They discussed physiological responses to stress and shared strategies to PROACTIVELY PREPARE for stressful situations. 
Misha's Room Live: Mental Health
Misha was invited to facilitate a workshop on mental health awareness at the 2019 Multicultural and International Student Affairs Leadership Retreat at her alma mater, Southeastern Louisiana University! Participants practiced stress management strategies (such as writing) using the poem “Paralyzed” as an exemplar and “Things I Imagined” by Solange as motivation.
